Each hostess has a lot of all kinds of small things that need to be placed somewhere. But do not just heap or stuff on shelves. And put them in a certain place so that everything is at hand. A simple solution to this can be a regular box. But the natural desire is to decorate it. Such beautiful boxes will delight the eye and create coziness in the house. Location: Location:
A cardboard box is a very versatile thing. It is both functional and can bring fresh notes into the interior (of course, if you embellish it a little in advance). Just think, and all the clutter will fit into itself (pins, buttons, coins, and maybe even larger), and it will show off nicely on the shelf. And it is very easy to "change" an ordinary cardboard box into a new stylish and beautiful clothes. To do this, you only need some consumables (fabric, paper, threads, and so on), small skills in needlework, just a drop of imagination, creative impulses and a great desire to decorate, improve or update the interior of your home.
For small things, shoe boxes are also quite suitable. But you can use any container to store your things, even small shoe boxes, even large ones - those in which electronic devices or equipment are bought. The main thing is that the box is solid enough.
There are several ways to transform the box. You can cover it with a beautiful colorful fabric or glue it over with multi-colored paper with pictures, you can use glue and threads to create a decent design for the box, or you can decorate it with straw or twigs. There is enough imagination for that. But perhaps the simplest and most common option is to glue the box with a cloth.
In order to glue the box, you will need: a brush, PVA glue, scissors and a cloth. Cut open the fabric so that you have two pieces (one for the lid, one for the box itself). For the cover, the fabric piece is cut out equal to its width and length, plus the doubled width of the sides of the cover and a small centimeter margin. And for a box equal to its perimeter, plus 2 cm. The width of this part should be equal to the height of the sides of the box plus 3 cm. After the patterns are ready, you can safely tackle the glue. Glue fabric blanks to the box and its lid. Cut off excess fabric at the corners, but be careful.
It is better to apply the glue in a thin layer. And after the fabric is glued to the cardboard base, apply one layer of glue over the fabric. PVA glue will dry and leave no visible marks, but will give the box extra rigidity. Finally, let the box dry thoroughly and you can use it to store your favorite little things and things.
