Video: How To Calculate Sick Leave If There Is No Earnings

In accordance with Federal Law No. 255-F3 and its amendments No. 343-F3, No. 21-F3, sick leave is calculated based on the average earnings for 24 months. It is also possible to make a calculation and payment based on actual earnings if the employee's work experience is more than 6 months or from the minimum wage if the work experience is less than 6 months. Location: Location: If an employee presented a sick leave and you need to make a calculation, follow the specified laws. The employee is obliged to present salary certificates from all enterprises where he worked for the last 24 months. If there are no income certificates, and your company has worked less than 6 months or the total length of service is less than 6 months, calculate based on the minimum wage, which from June 1, 2011 is 4611 rubles. The same calculation should be done,if there is no earnings, which can happen when you receive a certificate of incapacity for work immediately after employment.
To calculate, multiply 4611 rubles by 24, divide by 730, you get 151 rubles 59 kopecks - this is the average daily amount from which you must make further calculations. If the employee's experience is less than 6 months, then pay 60% of the specified amount for all days of incapacity for work. If the total work experience is from 5 to 8 years, pay 80%, from 8 years - 100% of the average daily earnings, calculated from the minimum wage. This calculation is only suitable for those cases if the employee is sick himself. If a sick leave is received for caring for a child under 15 years old, then the amount of payment will be slightly different.
For inpatient care, multiply 151.59 by all the days on the certificate of incapacity for work. For outpatient care up to day 11, calculate based on 60% of the average daily wage calculated from the minimum wage. From day 11 - 50%. Add both results.
The sick leave provided by a woman to pay maternity benefits, in the absence of earnings, pay on the basis of 100%. To do this, multiply 151.59 by the number of days indicated on the certificate of incapacity for work. In case of singleton pregnancy, sick leave is issued for 140 days, in case of multiple pregnancy - for 196 days. In case of difficult childbirth, the woman will be given a separate certificate of incapacity for work for 14 days, which you must pay in the amount of 100% based on the minimum wage. If multiple pregnancy was detected only during childbirth, then the woman will present you with a certificate of incapacity for work for 56 days. They must also be paid at 100% based on the minimum wage.
