Video: Art-Autumn

Contemporary art more and more confidently penetrates the structure of the city. Without stopping at museum and exhibition grounds, expositions of art objects master both open park zones and isolated urban spaces. But outside the center of the capital, it is not always easy for such installations to find worthy venues.

In the opinion of the majority of Muscovites, shopping and entertainment complexes are exactly those spaces that have already taken over the functions of leisure centers. For residents of a particular area, they have long become a permanent place to spend their free time. At the same time, the functionality of the shopping and entertainment centers themselves is shifting. If earlier it was focused on shopping, and the presence of certain brands on the territory of the mall was decisive for the visitor, now its entertainment component comes to the fore. Food courts, playgrounds and cinema complexes, traditional for any shopping center, have not surprised sophisticated guests for a long time.
It is these two trends - the penetration of art into the everyday life of citizens and the desire of shopping and entertainment centers to diversify the leisure of their visitors - that have united and allowed the Avenue Shopping and entertainment center, with the support of the Moscow City Department of Culture, to organize an unprecedented exhibition of recognized representatives of Russian and Western contemporary art. The entire territory of the Avenue shopping and entertainment center, located in the south-west of Moscow, will for a month turn into one large exhibition area for the brightest representatives of pop art and other avant-garde trends. From October 1 to November 4 inclusively, on the territory of the Avenue shopping and entertainment center, visual installations from the participants of the Moscow and Vienna Biennials of Contemporary Art and the largest exhibitions in Switzerland - Olga and Oleg Tatarintsevs will be available to the viewer;freshman in the field of pop art - Sasha Popova; successfully exhibited in Helsinki, St. Petersburg and the capital's "Garage" by Andrei Lublinsky, the world famous Igor Shelkovsky, whose works are present in the galleries of the Pompidou Center in Paris and the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, as well as in private collections around the world; and, finally, the work of the Canadian artist Christy Malakoff, whose exhibitions were held in galleries in Canada, England, USA, Germany, Mexico and Russia. Mexico and Russia. Mexico and Russia.
The official closing of the event will take place on November 4 as part of the citywide "Night of Arts". Moscow residents have repeatedly shown interest in such events, which is why it is so important to work well with the Department of Culture of the city of Moscow. The ceremonial closing of the Art Autumn installations in the Avenue shopping and entertainment center will be held in the format of an art party with eminent speakers - artists, invited guests, celebrities and bloggers, as well as artists participating in the exhibition. The event will be supported by the media, and, in addition to the speakers, will be accompanied by drinks, treats for guests and a dj-set from the duo S-Brother-S. The host of the closing ceremony will be hosted by Artyom Shalimov.
