For the first time in the history of the cult male calendar, 13 women famous for their achievements appeared on its pages instead of long-legged beauties in lingerie or without.

Back in September, it became known that in 2016 on the pages of the Pirelli calendar there will be portraits of women whose deeds and achievements have a noticeable impact on the modern world. Now is the time to take a look at the result of this project, sponsored by Annie Leibovitz herself.
Patti Smith, Serena Williams, Yoko Ono, Natalia Vodianova, Yao Chen (patron of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in China) - this is an incomplete yet impressive list of heroines who have compiled a splendid series of 13 black and white images of the new Pirelli 2016 calendar.
