Reese Witherspoon Launches Her Own Fashion Label Draper James

Under this brand, the Oscar-winning actress and native of Louisiana will produce everything from dresses to home furnishings - all in a relaxed southern style.

The project, which Reese kept secret until the last moment, is named after her grandmother Dorothy Draper and grandfather William James Witherspoon. Being from the south herself, the actress decided to popularize the South American motives and beauty of her native land. Under the Draper James brand, customers will find a wide variety of flying dresses for women of all ages, colorful jewelry, leather accessories, sportswear and home decor.

The brand's production and stores will be located in the southern United States. While the first store in Nashville is under construction, all products can be viewed and purchased on the Draper James website.

Frederic Tremblay, former vice president of design for Tory Burch, became the art director of Reese's project. The restless blonde is pursuing grandiose plans and intends to release at least 5 collections a year under her new brand.
