Recent studies have revealed a special addiction of our compatriots to "last minute tours". In terms of the number of spontaneous travels, Russians are ahead of everyone.

In the midst of the holidays, the World Travel Monitor has identified countries that love "hot tours". And Russia topped this list. It turned out that in 2012 73% of citizens of our country bought vouchers less than a month before the trip. Among other fans of unexpected vacations, Italians and Chinese are, however, with a significant lag - 64% and 62% respectively (although in 2008 the popularity of "hot tours" among them was much higher - 69% and 73%). The demand for spontaneous travel is extremely unevenly distributed around the world. So, the Japanese, French and Germans are not very enthusiastic about urgent fees (the share of buyers of "hot tours" among the latter is only 46%). And the Dutch and the British prefer to plan their holidays in advance. Among the inhabitants of the Netherlands, a third (33%) buys tickets to another country in 4 months or more. And our spontaneous fellow citizens still have time to go on vacation this summer.
