It is quite logical that by his fiftieth birthday (this is how many Bond songs are celebrated this year), the super-agent became wise, not that he began to preach humanism, but began to act a little more consciously.

"007: Coordinates" Skyfall " - the 23rd film in a series of films about the famous British Secret Service agent James Bond. The creators took the risk to release the best film in the history of the epic and were worthy to drink a bottle of champagne.

This time, James Bond does not prevent terrorist attacks and does not disrupt plans to overthrow governments - in Skyfall, upon returning from the abyss of oblivion, he takes up protecting what is dear to him - under the threat of Mi-6 and M. The usual order of things is changing, and an old school superhero has to find and take his place in a world where hacker attacks are preferable to fistfights. Sam Mendes, the director of the film, did a great job with a script in which the characters reveal too much personal for the undercover agents, without harming the overall seasoned, like expensive whiskey, truly Bond atmosphere. The scene, the color palette, the costumes of the actors (of whom Bond alone had more than eighty) are harmoniously replaced by one another, keeping the audience's attention on the screen throughout the film. The picture is filled with thoughtful details, but not overwhelmed and, like 007 itself, is reserved and sexy. The stunts, as always, are at the highest level (by the way, the Powell dynasty has been staging them in Bond films for all fifty years). The traditional credits, after a spectacular and dynamic opening intro, are worthy of special mention. They are tastefully executed in the current Gothic style and catch the eternal apocalyptic plots. Naturally, women: energetic, easy-going and witty Eve, played by Naomi Harris (the devil witch from Pirates of the Caribbean), and, as befits a girl in a film about a special agent, beautiful, mysterious and unhappy Severina (Berenice Marlowe) with interesting facial expressions and plastic. Adele's soundtrack gently nudges the action of the film and accompanies the genuine emotion given to the characters by Sam Mendes. They break through the masks and force the heroes to have little more than witty conversations. The relationship between James Bond (Daniel Craig) and M (Judy Bench) in Skyfall is getting diversified, and an important trick for their disclosure is silence - they are secret agents, but seriously, the understatement emphasizes their closeness and mutual understanding. At the plot level, the relationship of the characters helps to reveal the main negative character of the film - Silva. Javier Bardem plays his character so vividly that sometimes he pulls the blanket over himself from all the other characters. Silva's story is ambiguous, but Bond, stubbornly defending M, becomes his antagonist. The dialogues between Craig and Bardem's characters make you laugh out loud, but at the same time play a big role in the development of the heroes. Against the background of the heroes formed and wise in life, such as M and Silva, Bond, for all his conservatism, at times seems like a youth who has nothing to substantiate the principles to which he is loyal. But all the plot twists, conversations and even the places where the action takes place become for him a kind of psychotherapy session and help to understand himself. Bond learned well the lesson of his mentor from the Casino Royale - now in front of the audience a killer not dressed up with a needle, not a killing machine, but an agent who weighs his actions and knows how to think. During the film, the hero lost his home twice, matured and, it seems, sorted out his ego. But, judging by the last shots, not yet with all the villains.become for him a kind of psychotherapy session and help to understand himself.
