Video: How To Weave Senegalese Braids

Make your hairstyle not only fashionable, but also comfortable, create your own unique style - dare to braid the Senegalese braids. Forget getting up early so you can wash and style your hair. Location: Location: Hair braiding has been used all over the world in almost all cultures since antiquity. And now African-style hairstyles are at the height of fashion. Senegalese braids are often called plaits or cords. Their length, thickness, quantity and even color can be any, it all depends on your imagination and courage.
For weaving of this type, it is enough to have rather short hair (4-7 centimeters), because together with a lock of your hair, a bun of artificial fiber is intertwined - kanekolon, which is very convenient to use even for beginners who do not have weaving skills. You can also use a thinner material called "pony". This hairstyle is especially good for hair that is not too thick and strong. Try experimenting, because this hairstyle will last you two to three months. After that, correct it or change the color of the artificial strands.
Before starting work, visit a specialized salon and buy fake strands. Their number depends on the structure of your hair, focus on 120-150 pieces. Don't forget to purchase a special glue to secure the ends of the tourniquet.
Divide your hair into several zones using elastic bands or hairpins, start with one strand. Bend the bunch of kanekolon in half and put a loop on the "native" strand at the very roots of the hair. Do 4-5 turns as in a simple braid. Divide the natural strand in half and transfer the halves to the kanekolon strand. Once you have two strands of blended hair, twist them separately, but in one direction, for example to the left. Then cross the resulting "ropes" in the opposite direction, i.e. to the right. Repeat twisting and crossing until the tip of the kanekolon. Secure the end of the Senegalese rope with special hair glue. Thus, you have one pigtail ready.
Continue to work. Do the same for the rest of your hair. Try to braid with the same tension all the time so that the braids look the same. If this is your first time braiding, expect to spend at least 3 hours doing it, depending on the length and structure of your hair. In the future, you will certainly learn to weave faster and more accurately.
