Choosing the right color

Sometimes it happens that women quietly envy a friend's hair color or admire an interesting highlight of a movie star. What paint to dye your hair? You should refer to your color type.

There are 4 color types:

1. spring woman - the owner of green or blue eyes, natural hair color - a range from light blond to brown-haired. All sorts of shades of red will do - from honey to chocolate tones.

2. Summer woman is a cold color type. "Summer" women, as a rule, have light blue or blue eyes, natural hair color - from the lightest to brown. The best option is to dye it in ash or platinum blonde.

3. Autumn woman is a contrasting color type: eyes can be either dark or light. The natural color of the stripes - from brown to dark-haired. When coloring, shades of chocolate, honey, chestnut, as well as golden-copper tones will be ideal. Going blonde is not recommended.

4. Winter woman is a cold contrasting color type. The color of the eyes ranges from light blue to dark brown, but there is a pronounced contrast between the iris and the white of the eye. Natural hair color is dark. Ashy shades are suitable for such women, and you can also take a chance and become a burning brunette.

Of course, all these divisions are formal and generalized. It is impossible to say with one hundred percent accuracy whether this or that color is suitable for you or not. It is best to start by going to a wig store and trying on a wig of the color you like, there are also various programs that help in the selection of hair color.

Selection of dye for hair

Technology and industry have leaped forward, and in the current environment, an unimaginable amount of different hair dyes are produced. With this spread, a woman often asks questions: which dye is better, which is ideal for her hair type? It all depends on what effect she wants to achieve. According to the degree of stability, dyes can be divided into tint agents, semi-permanent paints, permanent paints. In turn, permanent paints are divided into permanent and semi-permanent. The main difference between some of the others is that the latter does not include ammonia.

Basically, permanent dyes contain hydrogen peroxide and ammonia, which allows you to achieve a radical change in color, since peroxide washes away natural pigment from the hair structure, and ammonia allows the dye to penetrate deep into the hair shaft.

If your hair is weakened, you should not use such a dye, because ammonia does significant damage to the hair structure.

Semi-permanent dyes are more gentle, but at the same time less result is achieved with their help - the hair remains almost natural in color, only a tone or two darker or lighter. There is no peroxide in these dyes, and ammonia is replaced by ammonia salts, so it is impossible to radically dye your hair using this dye.

As for the tinting agents, it should be said that they temporarily dye the hair and are washed off without a trace after 8-10 times. It is clear from the name that this type of dye does not color the hair, but only gives it a certain light shade. Accordingly, there can be no talk of any shading of gray hair - in this case, persistent paints are best suited.

There are also natural dyes. These include various types of henna and basma. By mixing them in certain proportions, you can achieve a color from light brown to dark brown. They are absolutely harmless to the hair, because they do not wash out the pigment from the scales, but envelop the hair from above. In addition, these dyes heal the hair, making it shiny and strong. But there is also a significant disadvantage - not a single chemical can change the color of the hair after dyeing it with henna.
