Video: ❶ Quick And Easy: Decorate Short Nails

If a standard one-color manicure seems boring to you, try to diversify it. When decorating short nails, try to visually lengthen them by making the plates narrower and the fingers more graceful. Fashionable design doesn't take a lot of time or artist skills. Spending only half an hour on a manicure, you will get a very interesting result. Location: Location: A very simple but effective move is to apply a simple ornament to the nails. Pre-coat the plates with two coats of colored varnish and dry them. Take a bottle of thick varnish in a contrasting color or acrylic paint and draw a straight or wavy line on the nail, placing it in the center or side. The length and thickness of the line can be adjusted by adding a little more paint. This technique visually lengthens and narrows the nail. You can glue a couple of rhinestones or pearls nearby.
It is very easy to draw a polka dot ornament. To make a stamp, cut off the tip of a toothpick with a knife. Cover your nails with two strokes of blue nail polish and pat dry. Dip a toothpick in a dark blue varnish and dot with a cut-off tip. Be careful not to smudge the drawing. Dry the polish and cure with a glitter coat.
If you like a more intricate pattern, prepare a paper stencil. Try drawing a hieroglyph. Carefully cut out the outlines and place the stencil on the dark nail polish. Apply a thick coat of white or silver varnish over the template. Carefully peel off the paper, dry the design, and cover it with a transparent top. Thus, you can decorate one finger on each hand - this will be enough to make the manicure creative and noticeable.
Not sure about your artistic talents? Use ready-made stamps. You can purchase a large set with a variety of patterns or be limited to one plate. Before starting work, apply a varnish of the selected shade to your nails, for example, purple, red or pink. Dry it completely. Paint over the plate with the pattern with black varnish, remove the excess with a special scraper. Press the stamp pad against the plate, then transfer the design to the nail. Press down firmly to print the pattern clearly. Dry the varnish and fix the pattern with two layers of top.
Magnetic varnishes will quickly and effectively transform nails. They come with a magnet plate that creates stripes, waves, stars or concentric circles on your nails. Choose a varnish color and a pattern. Apply a thick layer of the product to the nail and quickly bring the magnet as close to the nail plate as possible. After a minute, the pattern will begin to appear. Remove the magnet. This way you can decorate one or two fingers or cover the nails on both hands with a pattern. A top coat should not be applied over the magnetic pattern - it may smear the pattern.
