Ingrown hairs cause unpleasant sensations - the skin in these places itches, itches, and the hair follicles often become inflamed, forming pimples. You can deal with ingrown hairs in different ways, remembering to use means to prevent such conditions. Location: Location: Hair grows in due to frequent use of an electric epilator and shaving - over time, the skin hardens, and in the process of hair removal it is not always possible to control root removal. The weakened part of the hair remains under the skin, grows and cannot break through the dense layer of the epidermis - it curls up and goes down into the hair follicle. If your skin becomes itchy or inflamed after epilation, then this can be considered a symptom of the imminent appearance of ingrown hairs.
Ingrown hairs are best removed - steam the area with a warm compress or a hot bath. Then try pulling out the hair with tweezers, which need to be pre-treated with rubbing alcohol. If the hair has grown deep, then a calcined and disinfected needle can be used. If you managed to pull out the hair, then fill the ingrowth with alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or an antiseptic solution. Remove ingrown toenails only if you can see them under the skin. If there are a lot of hairs and the skin is covered with red bumps, then do not try to remove all of them - just steam the skin daily and treat it with scrubs so that the hairs come to the surface on their own.
Ingrown hairs can be prevented by lubricating the skin with a moisturizing or nourishing cream with a preventive effect before shaving or epilation. Shave your hair strictly in the direction of its growth, and when using the epilator, be sure to remove all hairs. To do this, move the device slowly, without making any sudden movements.
Special formulations for the prevention of ingrown hairs should be used before epilation, immediately after the procedure and for several days after that. The active ingredients contained in them intensively exfoliate the upper layer of the skin, helping the hairs to break through. While taking water procedures, treat problem areas well by steaming them and applying various peels and scrubs. You can rub the skin with special stiff brushes, make hot compresses and use brushes with natural bristles. After scrubs, always moisturize the skin, lubricate it with soothing compounds, gels with cooling components.
