Let's agree right away that when we talk about soap, we mean not a bar with which turpentine is equally well washed off hands and dirty socks, but a cosmetic soap designed to cleanse the skin. Soap works best for normal skin types. It removes sweat, excess sebum, dust and other impurities without disturbing the natural balance of healthy skin. But still it should be remembered that few brands produce soap specifically for washing. But the skin of the hands and body is not as demanding as the skin of the face. Owners of oily skin can use soap, but special foams and gels for washing are better suited for them, which regulate the work of the sebaceous glands. For representatives of the "dry skin" type, soap is contraindicated, even if it contains a cream. For dry skin,in general, it is best to use products that do not foam at all.

Cleansing toners can be used as a standalone product - many manufacturers specifically indicate on the packaging that the product does not require rinsing. But you can also combine them with water treatments. The toner can remove impurities before washing or complete the cleansing procedure with it. How to use the toner, decide for yourself, watch how the skin reacts. If, after several days of using the product without subsequent washing, your skin condition has worsened, it means that the sebaceous glands need additional cleansing with water. Cleansing tonics are different: with antioxidants, with moisturizing or antiseptic ingredients, with a relaxing or tonic effect. They should be selected in the same way as any remedy for the face - by skin type.

Cosmetic creams are best for dry skin types. They gently remove makeup and impurities from the surface of the skin, making it fresher, firmer and softer. Due to the complex of substances contained in the composition of the product, the skin receives additional nutrition, proper care and feels comfortable. This product is not suitable for oily skin types. For normal skin, there will be no harm from the use of cosmetic cream, but you should not expect a pronounced effect - a tonic or milk is more suitable for healthy skin.
