Video: ❶ Face Masks For Problem Skin
Problem skin requires careful and effective daily and supportive care. Masks are an excellent way to strengthen problem skin - especially since they are so easy to make and apply at home! Location: Location:
One of the most effective mask bases especially for problem skin is clay, usually black or white. Although if you are the owner of mixed skin with very dry areas, pink clay can also help you, which will perfectly moisturize and soothe irritated areas, and oily ones will get rid of excess oil and impurities.
Why is clay good? Firstly, it contains a lot of natural minerals necessary for the skin. Clay has antiseptic and healing properties. Clay is very easy to apply both alone and in combination with other ingredients. Warm up a small amount of water (as cool water will not open the pores and will not facilitate the penetration of nutrients into the skin), stir a few tablespoons of clay to a gruel state and apply on your face. You need to wash off such a mask after 10-15 minutes.
If you have a lot of inflammatory elements on your face, then feel free to add 2-3 drops of tea tree oil to the clay. The tea tree is a real salvation for people with problem skin. It is an excellent disinfectant, revitalizing and toning agent for the skin. Tea tree oil heals micro-inflammations and prevents acne and pimple marks.
On the basis of tea tree oils, you can make other masks that are useful for problem skin. For example, you can prepare a special compound that will soften and dissolve impurities in the pores. To do this, you need to stock up on another base oil. For example, apricot oil works well, as it refreshes and tones even oily skin surprisingly well without clogging pores. It is good to steam the skin a little with clean water or a decoction of herbs, and then wipe it with a well-heated composition of apricot oil and a couple of drops of tea tree oil.
Oatmeal is a source of almost all substances essential for oily skin. It is high in magnesium, zinc, vitamin B - so consume it regularly both internally and externally. Oatmeal can also be used as a scrub. Milled (though not to a dusty state, but rather slightly crushed) oatmeal is an excellent base for many masks for oily skin. It must be poured with warm (but not hot) water and stirred until it becomes a dense slurry. You can add egg white to the oatmeal, beaten well with a few drops of lemon or orange juice. This mask works well for tightening pores and fighting blackheads. If you want to tone up the oatmeal too, add some low-fat cottage cheese and a couple of drops of grapefruit oil to the oatmeal - this perfectly improves the complexion!
Masks based on fresh vegetables and fruits can be excellent masks for problem skin. Especially if they are rich in vitamin C! So turn your attention to kiwi fruits (which are also rich in potassium), apples, citrus fruits and tomatoes. All these fruits must be well wiped to a state of gruel and applied to the face for about 10-15 minutes. They tighten pores, improve complexion and saturate skin with vitamins. If your skin is more mixed than just oily, then add a little sour cream or low-fat cottage cheese to the above ingredients, as well as half a teaspoon of grape seed oil.
