A special UV lamp is used to dry the gel. Such drying helps to prevent fungal diseases.
Gel nails are very similar to real ones. They shine perfectly, you don't even need to varnish them. The disadvantage is that they are very fragile and afraid of temperature extremes. If you are in the cold without gloves, then in a warm room they can crack. Such nails cannot be repaired.
Acrylic nails are also applied to tips or forms. To do this, the nail is thoroughly cleaned, the cuticle is pushed back. Natural nails are carefully treated with an antiseptic. Lubricate the tips with special thick glue, let it dry a little. Then acrylic is placed on the nails (inside the form). Its amount depends on the desired length of the future nail. Apply a form with acrylic to the nail. Carefully squeeze all excess material onto the free edge.
Press down carefully to prevent air from entering between the mold and the material. Acrylic is evenly distributed from the inner surface of the mold and allowed to harden. After that, the tips are removed. Hone the free edge, give it shape.
This method is much shorter in time than gel extension. If you wish, you can build your nails yourself using acrylic at home.
