Even women who do not drink alcohol and prefer to lead a healthy lifestyle may suddenly feel the urge to drink beer during pregnancy. This is completely normal, even from a medical point of view, since the female body during the period of bearing a baby needs an increased amount of vitamins, some of which are found in beer. But nevertheless, the expectant mother should not often use this drink. Location: Location: Beer is an alcoholic beverage, although the alcohol content is not as high as in vodka or strong wine. Alcohol easily penetrates the growing fetus through the placenta, so when a pregnant woman drinks beer, she gives it to her baby. This, in turn, negatively affects the development of the child in the womb. Consistent beer consumption during the first trimester is especially dangerous:it can lead to metabolic disorders in the fetus, and subsequently, after the birth of the baby, to problems with intelligence and behavior.
Please note: we are talking about the constant consumption of beer. This means that a woman, having drunk half a glass of this drink, will not harm the health of her child, while an expectant mother, who uses it daily or in large doses, risks giving birth to a sick baby. With continued overuse of beer, the likelihood of miscarriage increases. That is why a pregnant woman should be very careful and try not to consume alcoholic beverages.
Beer is especially harmful to those for whom it is contraindicated for health reasons. This, in particular, applies to women with kidney disease, since drinking a foamy drink will only aggravate the situation and can lead to a sharp deterioration in the health of both the mother and her unborn child.
If a pregnant woman feels like she wants to drink beer, that certainly doesn't make her a bad mother. It's just that her body, forced to feed the rapidly developing body of her baby, requires additional vitamins. The problem can be solved in several ways. First, you should consult with your doctor and start using special vitamin complexes that he will recommend. Secondly, you can drink a glass of carrot juice, since it contains some vitamins that are also in beer, but this drink is much more useful for a woman and her baby. And, finally, thirdly, you can drink a little beer, not forgetting that you cannot abuse it.
