Heartburn is a rather unpleasant phenomenon. It arises due to the fact that the acidic environment of the stomach, that is, gastric juice, after eating is thrown into the esophagus. Heartburn is ubiquitous in pregnant women. This is due to the fact that the fetus, in the process of its growth and development, takes up more and more space in the mother's body and presses its weight on her stomach. Location: Location:
In the pharmacy, you can find medicines that can relieve the symptoms of heartburn, but it is better to resort to traditional medicine, which is more affordable and safer.
Sweetened juice along with pulp from fresh cranberries works best for heartburn attacks. You can purchase frozen berries and thaw them at room temperature. The berries must be carefully sorted out, freed from the branches and rinsed in cool water. Then add sugar in such an amount that the excess acid disappears, and the juice is pleasant to drink. And grind the cranberries with sugar using a wooden potato crush. You can use a meat grinder or juicer, but there is no guarantee that after such a procedure the berries will not acquire the taste of oxidized metal. The resulting mass is put into a glass jar and stored in the refrigerator. It is best to make such a cranberry harvest in small quantities in order to consume it faster. 1 liter of cranberries is enough to obtain about 1 kg of sweet berry puree. During a heartburn attack, dilute a small amount of cranberry mass with water and drink the resulting drink. Heartburn will go away very quickly.
There are other, less delicious ways to combat heartburn. The most popular one is to take a pinch of baking soda and wash it down with a glass of cold water. In addition, calamus root is good for heartburn. It is enough to chew a small piece and, if desired, drink it with water. For the same purposes, you can chew some horse sorrel in the morning on an empty stomach. Or fry the buckwheat in a dry frying pan until dark in color, grind in a coffee grinder and take a pinch 3-4 times a day.
Another recipe for heartburn: insist 20 g of yellow gentian root in a glass of boiling water and strain. Take 1 tablespoon 30 minutes before meals.
For heartburn and pain in the stomach, this method is also used: dry crushed herbs of yarrow, St. John's wort and marsh cinnamon are mixed in equal quantities. Insist 3 tablespoons of the mixture in 1 liter of boiling water, filter and drink half a glass 4-5 times a day.
Coal also has healing properties. Put half a teaspoon of birch bark ash or charcoal powder in your mouth and drink a little water. The procedure is performed 3-4 times a day. You can take regular activated charcoal tablets.
This infusion will help with heartburn: 4 parts of St. John's wort, 4 parts of chamomile flowers and 1 part of dry chopped plantain grass, mix, take 3 tablespoons of the mixture and pour boiling water. Take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day.
Another folk remedy for heartburn: 4 teaspoons of dry crushed inflorescences of purple Dubrovnik pour 1 glass of boiling water and take a little during the day.
Potato juice is used to treat not only heartburn, but also stomach ulcers. Within a month, you need to take the juice of fresh potatoes in a quarter of a glass 15-20 minutes before meals.
And finally: if you often suffer from heartburn, try to eat buckwheat porridge every day on an empty stomach, exclude spicy, fried and fatty foods from your diet, including olive and flaxseed oil, drink more fluids throughout the day, and this unpleasant phenomenon will be observed in you much less often, and possibly disappear altogether.
