As a result, it turned out that 70% of the participants in the experiment who fell into the first group have high blood pressure, therefore, they risk getting problems with the cardiovascular system in the future. As for the 2,415 members of the second group, only 200 of them were diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases. With each new test of American scientists, it became clearer that eating less salt,people significantly reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
Of course, too few studies have been conducted to say with complete certainty that excessive salt intake leads to the development of cardiovascular disease.
