Video: ❶ How To Start Dousing
The benefits of hardening procedures are undeniable: strengthening the immune system, general health improvement, prevention of vascular diseases and heart disease, etc. Dousing with water is one of the stages of hardening, which requires willpower, an appropriate moral attitude. Location: Location: You should start hardening gradually - do not pour water on yourself from head to toe on the very first day, this will only harm the body. Having experienced stress from unexpected exertion and sudden changes in temperature, you can not only catch a cold, but also earn heart problems.
The temperature of the water with which you will start the hardening procedure must be at room temperature - for this you can take measurements or simply leave a few buckets in the room overnight. During the night, the water will warm up and reach the desired temperature.
Prepare for the procedure in advance - put water in the bath, bring a ladle, a large towel and shoes. Wet rubber slates work well. Place objects within reach so that you do not fuss or run around the room during the procedure.
The first stage of hardening is characterized by minimal impact. Climb into the bathroom, take a ladle and draw water - pour on your hands, then go up to your forearms, go to your shoulders. Splash water on your feet, drench your neck. Finish off by washing with cold water. Wipe dry with a towel (preferably the toughest one).
On the second day, add your back to these areas by leaning forward and splashing water from a bucket over your shoulder. Then pour water twice over your neck so that it runs down your back. Do not pour a lot of water, pour out the ladles in parts, fixing your feelings.
On the third day, add a head wash. After treating your back, tilt your head and pour water over the back of your head. Dry your body and dry your hair.
For the first week, pour it over in parts, trying to follow this sequence: arms, neck, legs, back, head. The next stage is general douche. Do it as follows: prepare three buckets and pour water alternately over your head, chest and back. From this week the temperature of the water can be reduced - gradually, every day, lower it by one degree. 20-15 degrees is the optimum water temperature for hardening. If you like the procedure and you do not experience any unpleasant sensations, and also if your therapist approves of such experiments, then gradually lower the water temperature to 10 degrees.
