Talk about the need for such a long holiday on New Year's holidays has been going on in Russia for several years now. While officials are racking their brains over the question of whether to leave the Russians all 10 days for rest or to postpone some of them to May, the country continues to have fun and walk on a grand scale. However, according to the assurances of doctors, not in all cases such a protracted fun is good for the human body. Location: Location: For many, it seems that the long New Year's holidays are the time when you can have enough sleep for the whole working year, eat from the heart and chat with friends and family. Yes, of course, in 10 days of rest, you can redo a huge number of cases, fulfill many plans that were postponed on the back burner, and have a good rest. However, for some reason, many people feel tired and completely exhausted after a 10-day marathon. And there are many reasons for this.
First, overeating. The abundance of food in every home, obligatory visits to guests with traditional feasts - all this negatively affects the human body as a whole. It is difficult for the liver and stomach to cope with the responsibilities assigned to them to digest a huge amount of incompatible foods. As a result, a person may suffer from abdominal pain, a constant feeling of heaviness and sleep disturbance.
The second reason people fail to fully rest is alcohol abuse. Moreover, it is not necessary that a person drank in liters of strong drinks during the holidays. After all, even low-drinkers Russians manage to drink at New Year's and Christmas tables almost their entire annual rate. Again, this load is difficult for the liver and kidneys to handle. And the constant presence of hops in the blood has a bad effect on the functioning of the brain. Hence the regular headaches.
In addition, the entire regime of a person's day is completely lost. People wake up late, have breakfast at lunchtime, and have lunch during dinner. The very same dinner flows into a nighttime immoderate food intake. And this also leads to a complete imbalance of the whole organism.
Also, as psychologists say, part of the country's population may develop the so-called post-New Year depression. Indeed, according to statistics, only 8% of Russians can afford to go to cafes, restaurants, clubs and other places of entertainment on such a long weekend. The rest are forced to spend this time either at home or away. Long holidays are expensive, even if you are just staying at home. It is these factors that introduce people into depression instead of joy.
And one more disadvantage of such a long rest is that it is very difficult to get involved in work later. Therefore, the remaining half a month of the enterprise is not working at full capacity, waiting for the employees to return to normal.
If you do not want the New Year holidays to become a heavy burden for you and have a bad effect on the body, organize your leisure time wisely. Get out into the nature as a family, play snowballs, roll in the snow, remember your childhood. You can also easily go ice skating or skiing, make a snow woman, or go on a tour of your city. Surely there are many places in it that you don't even know exist. Make yourself a holiday with your own hands, and then the New Year holidays will only have a positive effect on you.
