Video: ❶ How To Train Your Memory
Many people complain of poor memory, claiming that they got their memory "full of holes". The ability to memorize is really different for all people, however, one should not think that this cannot be changed. Memory can be trained and it is not so difficult to do it. Location: Location:
One of the reasons for poor memory is the inability to concentrate. We scatter our attention, not keeping it on the subject that needs to be remembered, and as a result we cannot remember important information when we need it. To fix the situation, learn to focus. Start with simple things - for example, try to remember the list of products you go to the store. Concentrate and mentally repeat it several times, without distraction, and boldly go for groceries. If even at first you forget something, do not be discouraged. Over time, you will learn to memorize lists of any length.
Also, good memory depends on whether you can create a clear picture of what you need to remember. Many people are unable to do this, however, this does not mean that it is impossible to learn. To improve this ability, do the following exercise: imagine yourself … a camera and mentally take pictures of what you want to remember. Capture the picture in full detail. Take 10-20 "pictures" of your surroundings a day, and after a while you will see how your memory has improved.
These were preparatory exercises. After you devote a few weeks to them, it's time to move on to the next stage - the actual training. In order to train your memory, take a magazine, stop your gaze on an advertisement, or some complex image. Study it thoroughly, remember where which object is located. Close the magazine and write down a list of everything in the image as a souvenir, and where in the image this item is located. After that, open the journal and check yourself. The longer you train, the more complex pictures you choose.
