The garland is a traditional Christmas decoration. Of course, nowadays there is no shortage of anything in stores, including New Year's accessories. But the New Year is such a holiday when everyone feels a bit like a magician and wants to give others a grain of their magic. Moreover, this is a home holiday, usually uniting the whole family. So if you have children, it is better to spend one or two evenings making decorations for the Christmas tree and at home with them. You can make it from photos of your friends or memorable moments of the past year, for example, birthdays, passing the session, having a child, vacation in Italy. Such a cheerful New Year's accessory will remind you of the good things that happened in the year and will improve your mood.
You can make a garland with the inscription, for example, write on it "Happy New Year!" or "Happy New Year!" To do this, cut out identical pieces of colored cardboard, write only one letter or sign on each of them, and then, also using a sewing machine, sew to a beautiful ribbon.
You can arrange a fake and a little differently - make the cardboard double-sided - to do this, cut them twice as long, and then fold them in half, write a letter on each side. They can be easily positioned on a ribbon or string by simply hanging them on it without fixing them.
It is easy and quick to make a garland of colored strips of paper - both colored and wrapping for gifts. To do this, cut strips of the same size, twenty centimeters long, two centimeters wide, then sew them on a sewing machine so that the line runs in the center of each. The unusual garland is ready. Twisting the thread several times will make the garland more fluffy.
To decorate the children's room, make a garland on which small Christmas trees, bunnies, snowmen, Santa Clauses, snowflakes, angels will intersperse. Just draw these images and then cut along the outline (you can also make figures from colored and glittering paper), and then thread through them and tie them to a fishing line or ribbon.
You can stretch the garlands along the walls or stretch them from the chandelier to the curtain rod, or you can simply hang them on the tree. The main thing is to apply imagination, humor and a little New Year's magic.
