You will need

  • for one liter of water:
  • vinegar 100g,
  • 300 g of fine granulated sugar,
  • a teaspoon of salt
  • 3-5 clusters of grapes (the number of clusters depends on their size)

Select large bunches of grapes. The berries must be large and not wrinkled. Each berry must be separated from the branch and rinsed thoroughly in lukewarm water. Put the washed berries in a bowl and let them dry a little.

Prepare jars of the required size. It is most convenient to use three-liter jars, but if you do not need a lot of grapes, then smaller ones, for example, liter or half-liter, will do. In order for the jars to be completely ready for pickling, they must be thoroughly rinsed, wiped and sterilized. And only after that, plant grapes in them.

Prepare the marinade. To do this, dissolve sugar in water, add salt, vinegar and boil. You can even add cinnamon or some cloves if you like. Then you get a slightly unusual taste. After the marinade boils, it must be allowed to stand and cool slightly for about 5-10 minutes, and then fill in the previously prepared jars of grapes.

You can close the jars with ordinary rigid polyethylene lids. These covers are sold in any store and require pre-treatment with boiling water. Or the can can be rolled up with a tin lid. After seaming, jars of pickled grapes should be kept in a cool, dark place.
